BIOGRAPHY

I am a Native American artist , with a background in police forensic art, I have worked in metal, wood, acrylic, designed the National Native American Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. Currently I’m the chairman of the Indian Arts and Craft board for Dept of Interior. I am one of the Ambassadors for Creativity in Okla. Okla Hall of Fame, Okla, law enforcement hall of fame, Okla Military hall of fame, OSBI hall of fame, and a Southern Cheyenne Peace Chief.

How are your background and life experiences connected to your art?

My career in law enforcement as a forensic artist and my culture as an artist to open a way for others to follow.

Who are some of your biggest artistic influences?

Native artists before me and their art as a true representation of culture. Clyde Snow, Charles Russell, Charles Pratt.

How have you developed your artist career?

Through galleries, shows, and the internet, websites.

What does your artistic work intend to communicate to its audience?

History of Native American culture and police art in identifying the deceased, suspects, witnesses.

Does your work comment on any current social or political issues?

Occasional.

Do you have a particular story that stands out from your career as an artist?

Designing a National Memorial on the mall in Washington DC.

What is one thing you would like your audience to know about you?

That I’m serious about the arts and recognize the skill of other artists.

Why have you chosen to sell your work in the 1515 Lincoln Gallery?

I have the greatest respect for Susan and her respect for the arts.
